SunRays
II: City Views, characterizes and satirizes life in Los Angeles
(el pueblo de los angeles) as experienced by the composer over
a thirty-five year residency. The cover illustrates the electrical
energy generated by the impact of the sun's rays as they dance
and intersect in the city. SunRays II complements the first compact
disc of Price's music, also inspired by California people and
scenes, the acclaimed SunRays (Cambria Master Recordings 1996).
