Since 1994, Berkeley and Deon have been performing regularly as the
Price Duo, a mother/son chamber music ensemble whose mission is to
bring high quality music on clarinet and piano to the public through
performance, recording, and artist residencies. Their programs include
Deon's original compositions, well-known classics, and exciting music
from the 20th Century which often features music by women composers.
During the 1999-2001 seasons they played forty concerts in seven states
in the U. S., and in London, England. In June 2001, the Price Duo
performed concerts in China at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music,
Beijing Normal University and China People's University and the Beijing
Concert Hall. The Price Duo compact disc, Clariphonia: Music of
the 20th Century on Clarinet, is available on the Cambria label.
